What are we as Truth? Do we share true freedom? Hannah Hardy’s multi disciplinary practice explores spirituality in a playful manner, connecting the personal to the universal, celebrating moments of transcendence in the everyday. Her prize winning narrative based mixed media approach explores spirituality, self awareness and connection. She is interested in connecting to the spectator in a space of transcendence, beyond personal identity.

There is a tentative duality in Hannah’s practice, it is welcoming and playful to the spectator then it opens up to something other, a space within themselves which may feel challenging to their sense of self and placement. This is often a delicate dance between the dynamic and the sensitive. Anish Kapoor influences her practice in his distinctive ability to create a transcendent space for the spectator in public settings.
Hannah’s unique work is held in many private and public collections, from Hawaii, The New Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit and London. Hannah’s work has been exhibited internationally and has won many distinguished prizes, she also represents the UK in several International Artists conferences, several times in Morocco. Hannah has been awarded several public commission projects such as with Commissions East, Environmental Arts in hospitals and recently a sculpture trail for Break charity.

Trained in London, Hannah is also a qualified spiritual healer, founder of The Free Spirit Network and mother to four, she works between her studio in France and the UK.
